Ushers
The Usher Ministry's mission is to promote the divine worship of the church and to become trained Christian men and women who serve the Lord Jesus Christ through the Service we render to humanity.
WOW Women of Worth
Our mission for the Women’s Ministry of New St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church is to grow personally closer to the Lord, through obedience to His word. Serving each other with love, respect and encouragement. Sharing our joy of salvation with the community.
Boys to Men
Men’s ministry is an area that is constantly in need of revival because it often lacks a community that fosters mentorship, which is what men need to challenge each other. By creating true relationships men begin to disciple each other and truly grow. We are developing ways to help reach our young boy to grow into men, if we grow our men, we grow your men’s ministry.
Youth Ministry
Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God’s children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Churches have a responsibility toward children, too. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Music
This energetic and spirit filled group of individuals dedicate countless hours of their time to perfect their talents and cultivate their gifts. Comprised of members ranging in age from 18-60, NSMIC appeals to all audiences. Providing background vocals for live performances with Dorinda Clark-Cole, ministering at the Chicago Gospel Fest and being featured live on Chicago’s CBS channel 2 News are but a few of the mentionable experiences this choir has had in recent years alone.
Faith and Health Ambassadors
The overall mission of the Faith and Health Ambassadors of the New St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church is to teach people how to apply biblical truths and principles to achieve whole person health. Through this, many people will grow in their faith and others will begin to experience the love of God in a very personal way. Improved whole person health will better enable people to use their God given talents to make a difference in the world. In this, God will be glorified and better known.
